Accounting Assistant supports commercial project operations by coordinating billing, invoicing, accounts receivable activities, job costing, and administrative accounting functions. This role works closely with project managers, accounting, contract administration, and safety teams to ensure project documentation, pay applications, certificates of insurance, and closeout documents are completed accurately and submitted on time. The position is responsible for monitoring receivables, processing credit applications, posting journal entries, and supporting contract compliance requirements. Success in this role requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, along with experience in bookkeeping, commercial billing, and construction-related administrative processes.
